It rises at the confluence of the Pemigewasset and Winnipesaukee rivers in Franklin, New Hampshire, flows southward into Massachusetts, and then flows northeast until it empties into the Gulf of Maine at Newburyport.
- Sun, Aug 17SturbridgeEast Brimfield Reservoir, a flood control project managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is located on the Quinebaug River in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and encompasses 360 acres, including the enlarged Long Pond.
