Wallum Lake

Wallum Pond is a 322 acre great pond located off of Lake Road on the Massachusetts-Rhode Island Border in Douglas. One may fish at Wallum Pond with either a Massachusetts or Rhode Island fishing license but Rhode Island fishing regulations apply throughout the pond. The average depth of Wallum Pond is 28 feet with a maximum of 81 feet and water is very clear and typically transparent to 20 feet. The bottom of Wallum Lake is composed of rock and boulders with very little aquatic vegetation. The western shore lies within Douglas State Forest and is undeveloped, while the eastern shore is lined with summer cottages and several year-round homes.

Wallum Lake offers the ability to target both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass.
